Promise Your Heart Tet. Kendig 2009, 34 " tall, semi-evergreen foliage. Mid-season bloom, 24 buds. Complex color flower and very artistic eye on a 6"flower. Flower could be described as tangerine but the cream edge and the large red eye cover most of the flower. The red edge is a saturated color with red to pink blends surrounding the eye. August Sunset Kendig 2009, Tetraploid 30" tall, dormant. Late season bloom. 28 buds on 6-way branching. branches aew widely spaced which helps the flower open full and consistently. This flower is just starting its long bloom season when your mid season flowers are starting to decline. A thin gold edge surrounds the petals but the predominate color characteristic is the dusty rose color and the white mid rib. An established clump makes a fresh new display when you need color in the August garden....$75 DF
Ruby Red Ripples Kendig 2009, tetraploid, 16" tall, semi-evergreen foliage. Beautiful 5" flower with pink petals and sepals and brightly contrasting eye and edges. This flower represents the evolution of a decade of intnesive breeding for dramatic red edges. The rippled red edge measures 3/8" width. The edge and eye are clean red color and the contrast between the petal and the edge is fantastic. Not a dormant, but the Spring foliage is clean coming out of the ground. Canary Heights Kendig 2009 tetraploid 53" tall dormant foliage Mid-late season bloom, 40 buds on 7 branches. This is a simple, traditional form flower with a lemon yellow self. Regardless, it is a stand out in the garden because of iyts height and massive quantity of blooms. The scape is strong and perfectly vertical abd the branching is spectacular. Butterfly Wishes
Kendig 2009 tetraploid, 24"tall, dormant foliage, mid-late season bloom. Flower measures 4 1/2" and the violet petals show dramatically against the pale yellow sepals.

Virginia's Heart Kendig 2009 Tetraploid, 30" tall, semi-evergreen foliage. Large dark rose eye provides fantastic contrast on the near white flower. Trianular style eye extends onto the sepals. The eye is beautifully detailed with a notch on the triangle where the midrib would occur. The edge of the eye is outlined. Red Menace X Raspberry Winter.........$75.00 DF.
Susquehanna Storm Front, Tet. Kendig 2008 , 28" tall. 5" flower, Midseason bloom, SEV. Strawberry Fields Forever x Red Storm Rising. Near white flower with boldly contrasting red eye and red edge. Flowers are recurved, symmetrical and consistent. Performs well in full sun so the flower if beautiful from sun up to sun down.......$60
Susquehanna Effect, Tet. Kendig 2008, 30" tall, Early Midseason, SEV. large 6 1/2" flower. Janet Benz x Lake Effect. lavender flower has pink overtones. Flowers are recurved and the petals have pleats that extend into the very green throat. Petals have gold edge. The dark eye is outlined with a darker line. This flower opens early each morning and is a joy to start the day!.........$60
Susquehanna One Step, Tet., Kendig 2008 , 30" tall. large 6 1/2" flower, Midseason bloom, Dormant foliage. One Step Beyond x William Austin Norris. Pink flower with a green lime throat and pale pink edge. The pale pink watermark separates the green throat from the pink self. The flower is edged with the watermark shade and is edged in gold. Petals are beautifully pleated. Great spring foliage. Diamond dusting and a wonderfully finished flower......$45.
Black Pearl Pirate Tet., Kendig 2008, 24" tall, 5" flower and often larger. Midseason bloom, SEV. Lake Effect x Initial Public Offering. Strong lavender color with large purple eye and edge. Purple edge is 3/8" wide with knobs and hooks and horns. Very consistent performer and produces great edges through out the season. !......$60

Zipper Gate, Tet. Kendig 2007, 28" tall. 6.5" flower. Parents are unknown....but I bet they were ruffled. Dormant. 18 buds with extraordinary ruffles extending into the throat. Pleats are 5/8" wide. Spectacular! Opens well....except the petals zipper together. However, a simple poke into the petals and they unfurl beautifully. Fertile and much admired and sought.......$50
Red Star Nebula Tet., Kendig 2007, 30"tall, 6.5" flower. Red Menace x seedling. 16 buds, beautiful rose flower with red eye and complete red edge. Pleats are 1/4" wide. Opens flat and wide early in the morning to show its red edge. Nice green throat and another step forward in my breeding for red edges......$60.
P Buckley Moss Tet., Kendig, 26" tall. 5.5" flower. Sockeye Sunrise x San Simeon. Dormant, fragrant, 16 buds. A flower worthy to be named in honor of a great American artist, who is also a daylily fan! A very finished flower. Pirate Code Tet., Kendig, 32" tall, 6" flower, 16 buds, midseason bloom. dormant foliage. From Pirate Beads breeding with nice contrast between the cream petals and the purple eye and edge. Tall scapes and consistent flower blooming provide reliably beautiful presentation. Thin gold wire edge on petals. Good foliage habits too!......$50
Shepherd's Crook Tetraploid, Kendig 2006 5 1/4" flower, 26" tall mid-season, semi-evergreen. (Initial Public Offering x Strawberry Lace) Soft rose pink sepals are edged with wide and bubbly knobs of rose. Tips of the knobs are edged with glittering gold dusted color. Spectacular effect but done with soft colors...........$35
Watermelon Luminosity tetraploid Kendig 2006, we think. Kendig 2006 Huge 7" flowers with big crab claw buds. Mid-season, dormant, 28" tall. I don't make diploid crosses so the origin of the daylily is a mystery to me! Garden visitors insisted I introduce this attention grabbing red flower with orange throat. Enjoy what is destined to be my only diploid introduction.............$35

Susquehanna Strawberry Edge is an important step in my breeding program for red edges. It has a clear pink color and a complete, bubbly red edge and red eye. Unchain My Heart is a pink version of my first introduction. It is a cross between Initial Public Offering x Strawberry Candy. It is a great garden performer and has each year issued two sets of scapes. EM, 38", 5", 4-way branching, Sev., Tet. Sockeye Sunrise was a knockout from its initial bloom due to its large flower size and tall scape. Flowers are consistent and the foliage is dormant. The color is a salmon pink color with a rose eye.
